My greatest accomplishment won’t be how much money I make,
My greatest accomplishment won’t be in my work accolades or physical feats,
My greatest accomplishment can’t even stand against that of loving others fully,
It won’t even have to do with the family I foster or the wife that I love, honor, and provide for.
My greatest accomplishment won’t be in this life.
Rather, it all points to Christ, in that my greatest accomplishment will be nothing of me and all of Jesus’ love in saving me.
And even then, I didn’t accomplish anything in doing that, Christ did, in doing the Father’s Will.
For me.
So, what does my life amount to?
Well,
nothing.
However,
it does point to Christ in all He has done for me.
“Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10:20)
Because of the Holy Spirit,
Amen
