The reason I have different musical playlists for different emotions is because certain songs bring about certain memories within my mind, which then cause a resurgence of that emotion I felt within that experience or an isolated present emotion in remembering how that experience felt in the past.

It can also be a thing of a song just having great sound design, that it causes me to feel either "joyful" or "intense strength" in that moment.
